In pursuit of its goal to encourage students to explore legal education and law as a profession, LSAC Global organised a webinar on “Global Perspectives in Law: From India and Beyond” on 17th November 2020 at 7:30 p.m IST. The aim of the webinar was to help parents and students understand the benefits of global legal education and to highlight the academic and professional opportunities available to students.
The webinar featured exceptional legal education leaders from Cornell University School of Law, one of the top-ranked law schools in the United States - Ms. Monica Ingram, Associate Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, Cornell Law School and Prof. Sital Kalantry, Director of the International Human Rights Policy Advocacy Clinic, and Co-Director of the Migration and Human Rights Program, Cornell Law School. It also featured Prof. Dr. C. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat - a leader in U.S.–Indian legal education collaboration and an extraordinary legal education luminary. To provide student perspective, Ms. Swadheena Joardar from Bennett University joined in; she is currently enrolled in an international program run by Cornell University.
